Presenter Profile:

How they describe themselves: A European multi-currency account for B2B and B2C payments. Valuto helps SMEs and sole traders facilitate everything from foreign exchange to sending and receiving transfers in local currencies throughout Europe. The solution accesses the company’s network of bank accounts, enabling Valuto customers to send and receive domestic transfers at a fraction of the cost. The platform also leverages the company’s existing currency-exchange marketplace, which boasts over 380,000 registered users and facilitated over €3.2B in exchanges in 2015.

How they describe their product/innovation: Valuto is launching its open API. End users will be able to connect their Valuto payment account to third party systems in a safe and secure way. It enables seamless integration with numerous systems including desktop and SaaS accounting, e-invoicing, Investment platforms, B2B marketplaces and e-commerce sites. From now on users can issue cross border invoices with payments and collections in multiple counties and currencies directly from their accounting systems. Reconciling payments with invoices are automated through the user’s e-invoicing system, without the need to log in to manually change the status.
